Ingredients

Scale

Liquid Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Thickening and Sweetening Agents

  • 1 tablespoon collagen (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Now Better Stevia Extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon glucomannan
  • 2 pinches Himalayan salt

Fruits and Ice

  • 67 strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 3 cups ice cubes (around one full tray)

Instructions

  1. Combine Base Ingredients: Pour lemon juice, unsweetened almond milk, optional collagen, stevia extract, Himalayan salt, and vanilla extract into the blender. Blend on low speed for just a few seconds to mix all ingredients gently.
  2. Incorporate Glucomannan: While the blender remains on low, slowly sprinkle in the glucomannan powder. Continue blending on low for an additional 30 seconds to allow the glucomannan to thicken the mixture evenly, then turn off the blender.
  3. Add Strawberries and Ice: Add the fresh or frozen strawberries and the ice cubes into the blender. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth, creamy, and frosted to your liking.

Notes

  • If collagen is unavailable or you prefer a vegan option, you may omit it without significantly impacting the texture.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more stevia according to your taste preference.
  • Using frozen strawberries instead of fresh will make the drink thicker and colder.
  • For a fruitier twist, add a few fresh mint leaves before blending.
  • Ensure to blend on low speed when adding glucomannan to prevent clumping.
