Frappé Ingredients
- 60ml (2 shots) espresso
- 250ml milk (plant-based is fine)
- 2 handfuls of ice
- 75g caramel sauce, plus extra to serve
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
To Serve
- Whipped cream, to serve (optional)
- Prepare Ingredients: Brew 60ml of espresso (about two shots) and let it cool slightly. Gather the milk, ice, caramel sauce, and vanilla extract if using.
- Blend the Frappé: Add the espresso, 250ml of milk, two handfuls of ice, 75g caramel sauce, and vanilla extract into a high-powered blender. Blitz everything until the mixture is smooth and frothy with no ice chunks remaining.
- Serve: Pour the blended frappé into a glass. Top with whipped cream if desired, and drizzle with extra caramel sauce to enhance the sweetness and presentation.
Notes
- Use plant-based milk such as almond, oat, or soy milk for a dairy-free version.
- For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso shots instead of brewed coffee.
- Adjust the amount of caramel sauce to your preferred sweetness level.
- Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
- For a thicker frappé, add extra ice or freeze the espresso shots beforehand.
